Affiliate Program Terms

Effective October 25, 2026

The Laser Workshop is a Created Workshop project operated by Campanale LLC ("we", "us"). These terms cover our affiliate program and are part of our Terms of Service. If the two disagree about the affiliate program, these terms win. You accept them in your affiliate portal (Account, Affiliate).

The short version

  • You earn 10% of every Workshop Pro payment from members you refer, for 12 months from the referral.
  • Your audience pays the regular price. Affiliate links and codes don't include a discount.
  • Tell people you earn a commission, every time you share your link.
  • We pay by PayPal once your balance passes $25.

Joining

  • Affiliates join by invitation or application, and we decide who joins. You need a The Laser Workshop account in good standing and must be at least 18.
  • You get one referral code. It works in links (?ref=YOURCODE on any page of thelaserworkshop.com) and in the code box at checkout.
  • You're an independent contractor, not our employee, agent or partner. Don't say or imply that you speak for The Laser Workshop or Created Workshop.

What you earn

  • 10% of each Workshop Pro subscription payment a referred member makes in the 12 months after their referral date, calculated on what they actually paid (before sales tax), in U.S. dollars.
  • If a payment is refunded or charged back, the commission on it comes off your balance, even if it was already paid out.
  • No commission on your own account, accounts you control or share a household or business with, or members who already had a paid plan.
  • Commission is earned on payments, not sign-ups. Free accounts earn nothing until they pay.

What your audience gets

The regular price. Affiliate codes don't lower it, so don't describe your link or code as a discount, coupon, deal or free trial. Codes created before October 25, 2026 included 10% off the first payment; that discount ended after October 31, 2026. Those codes still credit you. If you mentioned the discount in older posts or videos, update the description or pin a correction where you can.

How a referral counts

  • When someone visits through your link, a cookie remembers your code for 30 days. If they create an account or start Workshop Pro in that time, the referral is yours.
  • A code typed at checkout counts too, and wins over an earlier link from someone else as long as that earlier referral hasn't earned anything yet.
  • Once a referral has earned a commission, it stays with that affiliate. Each member can be referred once.
  • Our records decide attribution. Blocked cookies, private browsing or a different device can mean a visit isn't tracked; we can't credit what we can't see.
  • You see how many people you referred, when, and what you earned. You don't see who they are.

Telling people you earn from it

U.S. law (the FTC's Endorsement Guides) requires you to disclose that you're paid when you recommend us, and we're required to make sure you do. So, every time you share your link or code:

  • Say it in plain words, close to the link, where people see it before they click. For example: "I earn a commission if you sign up for Workshop Pro through my link."
  • In videos and livestreams, say it out loud as well as writing it in the description. On image or short-video posts, put it in the post itself, not only in your bio.
  • "Affiliate link" alone, a hashtag buried among others, or a disclosure behind "more" isn't enough.

We may check your posts and ask you to fix a missing or unclear disclosure. Not fixing it is a breach of these terms.

Honest promotion

  • Only say what you believe from your own experience, and describe features and prices accurately. Don't post fake reviews or pay others to.
  • No spam: no unsolicited bulk email or messages, and follow the CAN-SPAM Act and any anti-spam law that applies to you.
  • Don't bid on "The Laser Workshop", "TLW" or our domain in search or social ads, or register look-alike domains or accounts.
  • Don't drop the referral cookie without a real click (cookie stuffing), pay or reward people for signing up, or post your code on coupon sites.
  • Use our name and logo only to point to The Laser Workshop, and don't change them.

Payouts

  • We pay by PayPal, monthly, within 30 days after the end of the month your unpaid balance passes $25. Smaller balances roll over.
  • Before your first payout you need to have accepted these terms and added a PayPal email in your portal.
  • You're responsible for your own taxes on what you earn. PayPal may report the payments it processes. If the law ever requires a tax form from you, we'll ask for it before paying you; never post one or send it in a site message.
  • We can hold a payout while we look into suspected fraud or a breach of these terms, and we'll tell you why.

Changes and ending

  • We may change these terms or the commission. We'll email you at least 30 days before a change that lowers what you earn; it applies to payments after it takes effect.
  • You can leave any time by emailing us. We can end the program or your participation with 30 days' notice, and we pay what you've earned at the next payout, even under $25.
  • If you breach these terms, we can end your participation right away and keep commissions tied to the breach (for example, from spam or self-referrals).
