My settings used to work, why don't they now?
Lasers are highly sensitive to environmental factors. Changes in temperature and humidity can drastically alter how materials react to the beam. Higher humidity makes organic materials like wood slightly more difficult to cut, while temperature shifts can affect laser tube efficiency or mirror alignment. Always run a small test cut if your environment has changed!
How do I know if a supplier is verified?
Verified suppliers are indicated by a green checkmark badge. This means the vendor has been vetted by our team for consistent material quality, reliable shipping, and positive community feedback. We regularly audit our directory to ensure only the best sources are recommended.
Can I use settings from a different laser brand?
While you can use them as a starting point, settings are rarely 1:1 between brands (or even models). Differences in wattage, lens type, and motion controllers mean you should always perform a test.
